Fia Lucia is a small Australian-based slow fashion label creating handmade clothing with a focus on individuality, natural fibres, and upcycled materials.

  • Use the site for lawful purposes 

  • Not attempt to disrupt or interfere with website security or functionality

3. Products and Descriptions 

We take care to ensure all product descriptions, photos, sizing information, and details are accurate. However, due to the handmade nature of our items: 

  • Slight variations in colour, texture, and stitching may occur 

  • Upcycled materials may contain unique markings or natural wear 

  • Every piece may differ slightly from images shown 

These variations are part of the character of handmade and upcycled garments. 

 

4. Pricing 

All prices are listed in Australian dollars (AUD). 

We reserve the right to: 

  • Change prices at any time 

  • Correct any errors or inaccuracies 

  • Cancel orders where pricing or stock errors occur (you will be notified and refunded)

5. Ordering and Payments 

Orders placed through the website are subject to acceptance and availability. 

Payments are processed securely through third-party providers (e.g., Wix Payments, PayPal). 
We do not store your full payment information. 

You will receive an order confirmation email once your purchase is complete. 

 

6. Shipping 

Our full shipping policy forms part of these Terms  

We ship Australia-wide. 

Shipping times may vary depending on your location and whether the item is ready-to-ship or made-to-order. 

Estimated timeframes are provided on product pages, but delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control. 

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping details. 
We are not responsible for lost parcels due to incorrect information provided by the customer. 
 

7. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds 

Our full Returns & Refunds Policy forms part of these Terms. 

Change of mind, incorrect fit, or sizing 

We are unable to offer full refunds for change of mind, sizing issues, or fit preferences. 
Where possible, we offer: 

  • Exchange for a different size (if ready-to-wear stock is available) 

  • A new made-to-order garment in your correct size (approx. 5-day production time) 

  • Store credit for eligible ready-to-wear returns 

To request a return or exchange, contact hello@fialucia.com.au within 5 days of delivery with your order number. 

Custom pieces, customised garments, and discounted items cannot be returned or exchanged. 

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, and original shipping fees are non-refundable. 

Refunds are only issued where required under Australian Consumer Law (e.g., for faulty items) and are processed to the original payment method. 

 

Faulty or defective items 

If your garment arrives with a significant fault or defect, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund in line with Australian Consumer Law. 

Please contact us within 5 days with clear photos of the issue. 

 

8. Made-to-Order Items 

Made-to-order pieces are handcrafted especially for you. 

By purchasing a made-to-order item, you agree to: 

  • Allow the estimated production timeframe 

  • Understand that small variations are part of the handmade process 

  • Acknowledge that made-to-order items are not eligible for a refund 

 

9. Upcycled Materials 

Our full  Upcycled Materials Policy forms part of these Terms. 

Many Fia Lucia pieces are created from upcycled natural textiles. 
This means: 

  • Some fabrics may show subtle, natural ageing or inherited character 

  • These qualities are not considered faults 

  • Each piece is unique and may differ slightly from the photos 

We disclose any noticeable markings in the product images when applicable. 

 

10. Intellectual Property 

All content on this website, including images, text, branding, graphics and designs, belongs to Fia Lucia. 

You may not: 

  • Copy 

  • Reproduce 

  • Distribute 

  • Sell 

  • Modify 

any content without written permission. 

 

11. Limitation of Liability 

To the fullest extent permitted by Australian law: 

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or our products. 

  • Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product in question. 

Nothing in these terms excludes your rights under Australian Consumer Law. 

 

12. Privacy 

Your privacy is important to us. 
Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use and protect your personal information. 

 

13. Changes to These Terms 

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
