About
Fia Lucia is for those who move through the world with a quiet kind of confidence—the ones who move gently but with conviction.
Stand by your values, move at your own pace, and express yourself without compromise. Every design, every stitch reflects this spirit: Intentional and quietly powerful.

Where we started
Fia Lucia was born from an idea I first developed during my Bachelor of Fashion Design, and a year later, it’s become a reality.
As a Dhurawal woman living and creating on Dharug and Gundungurra Ngurra in the Blue Mountains, I feel a deep connection to Ngurra (Country). This connection, along with my commitment to sustainability, inspires every aspect of my work.
Each piece is crafted slowly and mindfully from natural fibers, deadstock, or repurposed textiles. Working from my home studio, I create one garment at a time-reducing waste and celebrating the art of slow fashion. Fia Lucia is a one-woman label, made possible through the love and support of family and friends.
Sustainability
Deadstock Fabrics
Deadstock fabrics are surplus or leftover textiles from previous production runs, over-ordered fabric, discontinued lines, cancelled orders, production errors that would otherwise end up discarded. By reimagining these materials, we give them a new life and purpose.
Upcycled and repurposed textiles
These textiles include materials that were originally created for another purpose. Fia Lucia repurposes vintage tablecloths, doilies, placemats, and lace curtains that might otherwise end up in landfill, giving them a new life as slow made garments. By transforming these materials into garments, extending their life and honoring the craftsmanship and stories woven into each piece.
Many of these vintage textiles are made from high-quality linen and cotton, valued for their durability. Because they are second-hand and have lived a life before reaching Fia Lucia, some fabrics may show gentle signs of wear, slight discoloration, or variation each one as a mark of their history and unique character.
Natural Fibers
Fia Lucia prioritizes the use of Natural fibers in all garments. Synthetics are only used when sourced as deadstock, in limited qualities and only when another fabric isn't suitable, such as when stretch is required for a design.
