Our story
Fia Lucia began with a simple belief: clothing can be more than something you wear - it can carry meaning, care, and intention. Inspired by nature, kindness, mindfulness, and the character of vintage textiles.
Using pre-loved fabrics, tablecloths, and carefully sourced remnants, each item we make tells its own story. What started as a love for repurposing beautiful materials for my own wardrobe as my own quiet protest against fast fashion has grown into a brand committed to thoughtful, sustainable slow fashion.
We craft pieces for women who value quality, individuality, and sustainability. From versatile skirts and tops to one-of-a-kind accessories, every item is designed to be cherished and worn season after season, forever altered and mended. What We Make & Who It’s For
Fia Lucia is born from a love of the land, craft, hyper fixation and all things vintage. Inspiration comes from all around us, mine comes predominantly from the land. I am Dharawal women living and creating on Dharug and Gundungurra Ngurra in the Blue Mountains, I feel a deep connection to Ngurra (Country). This connection, along with my commitment to sustainability, inspires every aspect of my work. The goal of Fia Lucia is simple: to create clothing that feels intentional, personal and reliable.
How We Work
Every garment is made in small batches, as one-off's or made to order with care by me (Sophia). We select natural fibres for comfort and longevity and environmental impact, embrace upcycled materials to reduce waste, and focus on details that make each piece unique. Our slow-fashion approach ensures that every stitch, cut and fabric choice is intentional - because we believe the best fashion is made with respect, for both people and the plane.
